Empowerment: Any and all interactions are done with empowerment in mind. What this means is that if someone I am working with wishes to learn how to do something themselves, I will do everything possible to teach them. I am not trying to create dependency.
Transparency: Honesty and openness are extremely important. If I don’t know something, I will tell you that, and then work to find a way forward. I will also always find a way to tell you the truth. Hopefully by working together and delivering value the truth will be good news.
Security and Trust: Recognizing that technical assets and data are often the most sensitive for any company or individual, you can be assured of the utmost discretion. Any special privileges granted to me will only be used as directed, as a way to solve the task as assigned, with your full awareness of any actions done on my part.
Sustainability: I have always been firmly committed to sustainability in all its forms, especially the three “E’s”; Economic, Environmental, and Equitable. These are all equally important and not mutually exclusive. I care deeply about sustainability because I am a fundamentally hopeful person, and feel that it is within our capabilities to insure that future generations can enjoy life like we have been able to.
